Our business is our people and they are passionate about technology. Our youngest team member is 20 and our oldest clocks in at 32. Our team comes from a variety of backgrounds and gel together as a functioning unit.
Nathan Jeffery, has a broad range of business skills and technical knowledge, and combines them to bridge the gap between business objectives and technological requirements. He has demonstrated entrepreneurial tendencies since primary school and got his first job at the age twelve. Nathan drives focus and delivery, while ensuring the business operates within it’s financial constraints. He thrives within a high paced objective driven environment and pushes the team to continuously reach new limits. His passion for life long learning and people, puts him in the position to not only lead the team on a project level but on a personal level as well.
Deon Steyn, has been programming for ten years, with a focus on desktop based financial applications. He has a keen interest in python and is busy moving his focus from desktop applications to the web. He maintains and supports our legacy desktop applications. When he is not working he is either engaging in sport or dominating his PS3.
Craig Moss, has a background in management, client services and sales. He studied COBOL, C, C++, SQL and 4GL. He is a fast learner and combines business acumen with a passion for design and programming. He heads up our web development team, with a focus on web and mobile technologies including; HTML5, CSS, PHP and JavaScript Frameworks. When he is not surfing the net, he is in search of the perfect wave.
Dereck Bester, studied networking, spent some time in the Computer Retail industry before joining MyEcommerce. He has been with the company for three years and has grown from a network support technician into a reliable and able programmer. He just so happens to be the only one of our team to be using a BlackBerry.
Nicholas Hoffmann, studied electronics at high school and is our walking Encyclopedia. He knows more random facts than most people and don’t even get him started on particle physics. He has a deep routed passion for electronics and computers. He manages our network infrastructure, our help desk and is our go to guy when it comes to technical issues. He’s been electrocuted more times than the average person would like and when he is not in front of his computer, he is either eating or sleeping.
